31 days of projects - day 30

Finished another photo book for Susannah.  Then worked on a Christmas present.  But can't share because it's a secret!! =)
Now I need to get our trip photos condensed into folders for each kid then printed out so the girls can finish their travel journals.  It's only already been 2 months! Thanks for the reminder, Mom!
But first, I'm going to help Nathan colour his picture of Buzz Lightyear because it won't be long before he won't want Mama's help. =)

31 days of projects - days 28 and 29

I don't remember what happened on Monday.  I know there was some fussiness and disobedience.  Josh brought home dinner because I kinda forgot about it until 5:50.  It was that kind of a day.  BUT Tuesday I cut some flowers off my hydrangea to put in my keyholder/flower vase.  I love the way they look!  And I spent several hours creating ABC photo books for Nathan and Naomi for christmas.  I was able to use all photos from our trip except for the front of Naomi's book.  And Grandpa called to say he was in Brisbane and could he drive up for dinner?  So we had a welcome guest for dinner.  {that sounds like any other guests we have aren't welcome but that isn't true =)}  And thankfully I had put dinner in the crockpot in the morning so no last minute scrambling.

31 days of projects - day 27

Sunday was Naomi's birthday.  We opened a couple presents, went to church, came home, opened a few more presents then headed out to the Challacombe's for the afternoon/evening.  We got to share Naomi's birthday cake.  She wasn't so sure about the sparkler "2".  haha.  I made the cake in four layers that were white, light pink, med. pink and dark pink.  But I forgot to take a picture of the inside.  All in all it was a great day as evidenced by all the kids sleeping until 7 the next morning.  =)

31 days of projects - day 26

The big project of the day was Naomi's swing for her birthday.

31 Days of Projects - day 25

I started working on next year's homeschool/life planner. I think it's quite cute and can't wait to use it.

31 days of projects - days 23 - 24

we played a lot these days.  And slept.  And took pictures of sleeping babies.  and kept cleaning a kitchen that just wouldn't stay clean.  And washed a mountain of laundry.  and hung it out.  and folded it.  and mostly put it away.  =)

31 days of projects - days 16 - 21

We've gotten a little sidetracked in the last week with sick kids, non napping babies, etc.  But we're still here just doing things like school work, going to the water park, and desperately trying to keep the house clean and laundry caught up {and failing at it}.  The girls got a few projects done on the sewing machine though.  Beka made a bag and pillow from the jeans we used for her new skirt.  I think they're birthday gifts for a friend. Emma made a doll for Naomi's birthday and a bag for her Bible.  Catie made a pillow and blanket for Naomi for Christmas to go in her new doll bed she'll be getting.

I finished Naomi's doll for her birthday. I love it!!!

31 days of projects - day 10

The girls made some pompom bugs from a little kit.  I liked how Catie dangled her redback spider with thread from her handrawn web.  =)
